Calamity mod руководство

This is a Guide page.
This means the page will walk you through a specific task, strategy, or enemy/boss fight.
This guide was last updated for version 2.0.2.001.

This is a guide intended to give a rough outline of progression through the Calamity Mod. The mod adds several new points of progression and makes several changes to the base game’s mechanics as well, which will be mentioned throughout this guide.

Pre-Hardmode

Getting Started

Starting

  • The player starts out with several items: the Starter Bag and Revengeance. The bag contains weapons for each class in the game and various Potions, as well as Death, and Malice. Several of these items toggle unique difficulty modes:
    • Revengeance Mode and Death Mode are difficulty settings intended to be much more challenging than Expert Mode, introducing mechanics such as the Rage Meter and Adrenaline Meter (and Stamina Meter This content originates from the: Catalyst addon.), and new boss mechanics.
    • Malice Mode is a difficulty mode that makes bosses exponentially harder, giving them an «enraged» AI and heavily increasing their damage and projectile speed.
  • Certain mechanics featured by the mod can be changed in the configuration options file.
  • Acquire ~50 Delicious Meat and eat it immediately.

Pre-boss exploration

  • Aside from mining for Ores, Wulfrum Metal Scraps and Energy Cores are the first materials the player should look for to create armor and weapons.
  • All Biomes and the majority of Events have unique content added to each of them, so be sure to check through them for items that may be useful.
  • Several new structures spawn across the world:
    • Planetoids spawn in Space, providing items which were otherwise available only in the Caverns. These structures can provide huge benefits to the player, especially if explored early.
      • The main Planetoid contains the Space Arsenal Lab that contains Cinderplate and chests with Herb Bags, Planter Boxes, Dubious Plating and Mysterious Circuitry. This allows the player to set up an early herb farm.
      • Ore planetoids can be generated, providing the player with a large amount of a random ore, which is useful for early crafting, especially for Gold or Platinum armor.
        • Ore planetoids are sometimes generated with an Enchanted Shrine, which can yield the Enchanted Sword or Arkhalis.
      • Biome planetoids can be useful for obtaining items prior to exploring their respective biomes, most notably Bezoars, Sharpening Stations and Glowing Mushrooms.
      • A Life Crystal planetoid is always generated with a Life Crystal, and typically contains a random type of gem.
        • These planetoids, especially if Rubies are generated, will allow the player to craft large amount of Life Crystals early, helping them to increase their maximum life extremely quickly.
    • Shrines appear in different biomes, each with a unique accessory or mount for the player to use.
    • An Evil Island spawns opposite to the dungeon, containing the opposite World Evil and its respective ore, as well as its Biome Chest.
  • Certain enemies drop vanilla items for convenience:
    • Crawlers can be found in subterranean areas, dropping their respective gems.
    • Cosmic Elementals have chances to drop the Bone Sword, Starfury and Arkhalis.
    • A complete list containing all the other available items may be found here.
  • NPCs also sell new items, including a variety of buff potions.
  • Enemies during Blood Moons drop Blood Orbs, which make crafting potions easier but require the Alchemy Table from the Dungeon.

Mechanics

  • Killing enemies or damaging bosses yields proficiency, a new leveling system added by the mod. While the system isn’t necessary to be able to progress, it grants several minor boosts to the player’s stats.
  • The mod also adds a new Rogue class, which utilizes a unique stealth mechanic to deal extra damage.
  • Several items as well as modifiers have been rebalanced throughout progression.
  • All other changed mechanics can be referred to here.

Early boss progression

  • This content originates from the: Calamity: Community Remix addon. An easy first boss for the player to fight is the Wulfrum Excavator, providing several useful items and unlocking the Desert Scourge fight.
  • After obtaining as much loot as they can, the player should head to the Desert or Underground Desert and fight the Desert Scourge.
    • Cnidrions are large dry seahorse-like enemies which fire a barrage of water bolts. While they are easy to kill by hiding as their bolts cannot penetrate blocks, be wary as they can fall from above and trap the player in confined areas. They also drop the Desert Medallion needed to summon the Desert Scourge.
  • When the Desert Scourge is defeated, the player may venture farther through their world to enter the Ocean.
    • In the Ocean, most enemies are largely passive and will not attack the player unless provoked. The Giant Clam is a powerful miniboss that resides in this biome. The Sea King will spawn upon its defeat.
    • The Sea King sells many useful weapons as well as granting the Amidias’ Blessing buff allowing underwater breathing.
  • Although not immediately useful, it is recommended that the player looks for the Sunken Sea Bio-center Lab in the Ocean and takes the loot within.
    • The Lab Turrets can be dangerous and are immune to normal weaponry, though they can be destroyed with a pickaxe. The player should build a barrier to block their line of fire while they explore the lab.
    • The Schematic (Sunken Sea) will unlock powerful weapon recipes for later.
    • The player should also look for Power Cell Factories to place near their base so they can start producing Draedon Power Cells for later.
    • The player should also take two Charging Stations. One to create a Codebreaker with and another to recharge any chargeable weapons the player crafts.
  • After the Eye of Cthulhu is defeated, Acid Rain may occur naturally and the player is free to challenge its first tier in the Sulphurous Sea.
    • While the event is rather difficult, the Sulphuric Scales dropped by various enemies in the event can be used to craft powerful weapons as well as Sulphurous Armor.
    • While at the Sulphurous Sea, the player can loot Rusty Chests on the seafloor and in the caverns beneath it.
      • The player should be cautious to ensure they don’t accidentally enter the Abyss at this point, as they are not yet properly equipped to handle the enemies within.
  • While optional, Crabulon is recommended to be fought at this point.
    • If a Glowing Mushroom biome has not been discovered yet, a Mushroom Planetoid can alternatively be used to build a small arena for him.
    • Aside from the usual weapons, Crabulon also drops a Mushroom Plasma Root in Revengeance Mode, which increases the duration of the Rage Mode buff by 1 second.
  • After defeating the Eater of Worlds/Brain of Cthulhu (and optionally, Queen Bee and the Old One’s Army), The Hive Mind/The Perforators can be challenged.
    • The two are initially summoned by destroying either a Hive Cyst or Perforator Cyst depending on the boss.
    • Defeating either one will generate Aerialite Ore in the world and cause Aero Slimes to spawn in the Cavern layer. This is used for the Aerialite set, which will also require Clouds, Sunplate Blocks, and the Sky Mill to craft.
  • The player can now craft the recipes contained within the Sunken Sea Schematic.

Late boss progression

  • The next goal of the player should be to fight Skeletron and visit the Dungeon.
    • The Bandit NPC can now spawn, selling various Rogue weapons and accessories.
      • The Bandit also provides the refund service which returns a fraction of the money the player has spent at the Goblin Tinkerer on reforging.
    • The Shadow Key will be required during the trip to the Abyss, so the player should prioritize finding it upon entering the dungeon. Alternatively, the player can craft a Shadow Key with a Golden Key, Obsidian, and Bones.
  • After rescuing the Mechanic, the player can buy Wire to craft the second Codebreaker component, the Decryption Computer which decodes the Encrypted Schematic (Planetoid) and unlocks various early-Hardmode recipes.
    • The Encrypted Schematic (Planetoid) is in the Space Bio-center Lab inside the main Planetoid, which can be located with the Purple Seeking Mechanism.
  • The Abyss is a large biome which sits right next to the Dungeon. While optional, it contains valuable loot which will prove to be useful against the next pair of bosses.
    • The player should build a house with a bed near the area, for the sake of convenience.
    • The entrance to the biome is located at the very bottom of the Sulphurous Sea.
    • Using the Shadow Key, the Shadow Chests should be opened to obtain several weapons, accessories and other helpful tools.
    • Entering the deeper parts is not recommended due to the multiple powerful enemies that may spawn in the area.
  • The Deerclops is recommended to be challenged around this time, and will drop the Dust Bunny This content originates from the: Catalyst addon. to increase the player’s Stamina.
  • The player can attempt to explore the Brimstone Crag at this point and use the Shadow Key to loot the Shadow Chests within, though they should be wary of the powerful enemies that spawn in this biome.
    • Each of the unique items found in typical underworld Shadow Chests, as well as a Lava Charm, are distributed among the six Shadow Chests on the surface of the crag.
    • There are three more chests buried under the Brimstone Slag that contain a Magma Stone, Obsidian Rose, and Philosopher’s Stone (an item typically unavailable until Hardmode).
  • Afterwards, the player can challenge The Slime God.
    • While this boss can be skipped and fought later, the loot and the crafted Statigel set is valuable in the upcoming fight against the Wall of Flesh.
    • The boss also drops the Electrolyte Gel Pack in Revengeance Mode, which increases the damage of Adrenaline Mode by 15% and increases how much damage reduction the player gains when hit while the meter is full by 5%.
  • The last step is to prepare for and defeat the Wall of Flesh, and then enter Hardmode.
    • Aside from new weapons, the boss also drops a Rogue Emblem for the rogue class.

Hardmode

  • If the early Hardmode progression rework is enabled in the configuration options, Cobalt Ore and Palladium Ore will spawn upon defeating the Wall of Flesh.
    • Breaking Demon Altars or Crimson Altars will yield Souls of Night.
    • The Mythril Anvil and Orichalcum Anvil are unavailable until the defeat of one Mechanical Boss.
    • A full documentation of the early Hardmode progression rework can be found here.
  • The Cloud Elemental and Earth Elemental now spawn in Space and the Cavern layers respectively, serving as hazards to the unsuspecting player.
  • New enemies spawn in the Ocean and the Giant Clam miniboss is buffed, gaining new attacks as well as dropping various weapons and Mollusk Husks.
  • The Astral Infection spawns into the world, featuring powerful enemies which drop Stardust used to craft various items.
    • Novas begin spawning which drop the Comet Shard when detonating on Astral Ore, which increases mana by 50
  • Three new essences are available in Space, The Underworld and the Snow biome which can be used to craft new gear.
  • Life Fruits begin spawning immediately upon entering Hardmode.
  • The Brimstone Crag is intended to be explored at this point.
  • The Cosmolight is now obtainable, allowing the player to change the time from night to day, and vice versa.
  • Several vanilla bosses have been made non-linear in progression:
    • Plantera can be fought early by crafting the Portabulb.
      • Plantera’s Bulb also spawns before all mechanical bosses have been defeated.
    • The Temple Key can now be crafted before Plantera is defeated, and Golem can be summoned early as well with the Old Power Cell.
    • The Lunatic Cultist can be summoned pre-Golem via the Eidolon Tablet.

Early-Hardmode boss progression

  • Three new bosses become available: Cryogen, Aquatic Scourge and Brimstone Elemental. The three of them are fought between each Mechanical Boss fight. These bosses are not required for progression, but the gear they drop and unlock can aid in the upcoming fights.
    • Cryogen’s summoning item can be crafted at an Iron or Lead Anvil, the Aquatic Scourge’s summoning item requires a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil, and the Brimstone Elemental’s summoning item requires an Adamantite or Titanium Forge.
    • Defeating Cryogen spawns Cryonic Ore in the Ice biome for the Daedalus set.
      • The Archmage NPC spawns as well and sells various items and weapons.
    • Defeating Aquatic Scourge unlocks the second tier of the Acid Rain.
      • This tier unlocks new weapons for the player to aid in the upcoming fights.
    • Defeating the Brimstone Elemental makes it possible to craft Exotic Pheromones to fight The Dragonfolly, however it is advised not to do so until Plantera is defeated.
    • The second tier of the Old One’s Army may also be fought, as the Sentry accessories are recommended for Summoners.
  • If the early Hardmode progression rework is enabled, Mechanical Bosses will no longer drop Hallowed Bars at first and defeating Mechanical Bosses will cause various ores to spawn in the world.
    • Mythril Ore and Orichalcum Ore will spawn upon the defeat of the first Mechanical Boss, allowing the player to craft a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil.
    • Adamantite Ore and Titanium Ore will spawn upon the defeat of the second Mechanical Boss.
    • Hallowed Ore will spawn in the underground Hallow following the defeat of the final Mechanical Boss, and all Mechanical Bosses will drop Hallowed Bars from that point onward.
  • As soon as Mythril or Orichalcum Bars are available, the next Codebreaker component, the Long Ranged Sensor Array, can be crafted to decrypt the Encrypted Schematic (Jungle).
    • The Encrypted Schematic (Jungle) is in the Jungle Bio-center Lab, which can be located with the Green Seeking Mechanism and unlocks various recipes for late-Hardmode.
  • The souls dropped by the Mechanical Bosses along with Mythril or Orichalcum Bars can be used to craft the weapons from the Planetoid Schematic.
  • The Blood Orange may be obtained by dropping an Apple into a pool of water while a Blood Moon is currently active.
  • After all six bosses have been defeated, the player is recommended to fight either Calamitas or Plantera.
  • After defeating Calamitas, Solar Veils will drop from certain enemies during a Solar Eclipse and the middle area of the Abyss may now be explored, in order to hunt for Depth Cells, Lumenyl, and dig for Tenebris.
    • The player should be very careful within this area of the Abyss, as enemies can very easily overpower them, and the lack of significant lighting can make escaping the Abyss difficult under pressure.
    • The materials here are used in gear both now and later on.
    • As the breath loss increases as the player goes deeper into the Abyss, accessories such as the Abyssal Diving Gear and the Aquatic Emblem are highly recommended from this point onwards.
    • Calamitas will also drop the Magma Booster This content originates from the: Catalyst addon. to greatly increase the player’s Stamina.
  • Before fighting Plantera, the player can also equip a Bloody Vein and use the Mechanical Worm to summon The Derellect. Defeating it is a great source of hallowed bars and powerful weapons.

Post-Plantera boss progression

  • Polyphemalus can now be challenged by using the Fused Eye at night.
  • The Great Sand Shark may now spawn during a Sandstorm or be challenged using the Sandstorm’s Core, providing Grand Scales that are used to craft items.
  • The Armored Digger may appear in the Cavern layer, posing as a possibly dangerous threat.
    • It drops Draedon’s Remote, which summons the Mechanical Boss trio with buffed stats.
  • Solar Veils are now dropped by certain enemies during a Solar Eclipse, even if the player has not defeated Calamitas.
  • Enemies within the Dungeon now drop Ectoblood, which makes farming for Ectoplasm significantly easier.
  • The player should be strong enough to fight The Dragonfolly.
    • Defeating the Dragonfolly will grant access to Desert Feathers, which can be crafted into the several items, including the upgraded Effulgent Feathers once the Lunatic Cultist is defeated.
    • The Red Lightning Container is dropped by the Dragonfolly in Revengeance Mode, increasing the duration of the Rage Mode buff by 1 second.
  • The next bosses to fight are Leviathan and Anahita and Astrum Aureus.
  • Defeating Astrum Aureus causes the Astral enemies to gain increased stats and drop unique weapons.
    • The Astral Biome Chest also unlocks in the Dungeon, providing the Rogue class its own unique weapon, the Heavenfallen Stardisk.
    • In Revengeance Mode the Starlight Fuel Cell is dropped, which increases the damage of Adrenaline Mode by 15% and increases how much damage reduction the player gains when hit while the meter is full by 5%.
  • After Golem is defeated, the player may visit the Abyss again to mine for Scoria Ore for the Hydrothermic set.
    • The Miracle Fruit can be obtained from Jungle Planetoides.
    • The Rift Reeler becomes available, which is exceptionally useful for obtaining potion ingredients and other useful items.
    • Several plague-related enemies including the Plaguebringer miniboss also begin to spawn in the Jungle, providing Plague Cell Canisters.
  • The Pot of Pain opens up, allowing the player to obtain Yharim’s Gift and Insignia.
  • The player can now craft Life Alloy to create an Advanced Display, the next Codebreaker component, and decrypt the Encrypted Schematic (Hell).
    • The Encrypted Schematic (Hell) is in the Underworld Bio-center Lab, which can be located with the Red Seeking Mechanism and contains post-Providence recipes.
  • The player may then fight The Plaguebringer Goliath, Duke Fishron, Ravager and the Lunatic Cultist afterwards.
    • The Plaguebringer Goliath drops Infected Armor Plating, which can be used to craft the weapons in the Jungle Schematic.
    • Ravager drops the Infernal Blood in Revengeance Mode, which is the third and final Rage upgrade, increasing the duration of the Rage Mode buff by 1 second.
    • The defeat of the Lunatic Cultist allows for Effulgent Feathers to crafted, and the Jungle Dragon Egg that is used to summon Jungle Dragon, Yharon, although it is highly recommended that the Player waits to fight him until The Devourer of Gods has been defeated.
    • Although the first three are not strictly necessary for mod progression, they are recommended to be fought in the order of Calamity’s boss progression and the Boss Checklist Mod.
  • Before fighting the Moon Lord, the player can use a Titan Heart at the Astral Beacon to summon and fight Astrum Deus.
    • Defeating Astrum Deus allows the player to mine the Astral Ore at the meteor in the biome and craft weapons.
    • The player can also insert the Bloody Vein into the Astral Beacon to summon a Ethereal Core, boosting the player’s mana by 50.

    • Cosmilite Slag will generate inside of all Planetoids, allowing the crafting of Cosmilite Bars. This content originates from the: Calamity Loot Swap addon.
      • Combining Cosmilite Bars, Luminite Bars, Galactica Singularities, Exodium Clusters, and a Hardmode Anvil, the Cosmic Anvil can be crafted, which will grant the player access to the many high tiers of items available in the Calamity Mod.
  • Once The Profaned Guardians are defeated, they will drop a Profaned Core, which is used to summon Providence, the Profaned Goddess.

The Calamity Mod adds a plethora of new weapons and equipment for all classes, including its new rogue class, to use throughout the game. Calamity also adds many difficult boss encounters and other situations in which class builds should be optimized in order to efficiently succeed. This is a guide that will show potential weapon and equipment builds for each of the five classes at various points in the game’s progression.

Melee — The melee class sports the highest defense on average and decent crowd control, but many melee weapons have short attack range, and those that do attack from a distance tend to have below-average DPS.

Ranger — The ranged class is a powerful bossing class with very high single-target damage output, and can attack from a long range. Ranged users must gather materials to craft ammunition, but this is not a significant drawback.

Mage — The magic class is fragile but highly varied in attack style, often utilizing special mechanics such as homing and area-of-effect damage. It is held back by reliance on mana, which regenerates very slowly unless the Mana Regeneration buff is in effect. Mages must craft or purchase mana potions if they wish to use high-mana cost weapons for extended periods of time.

Summoner — The summoning class is good at dealing with multiple threats, but most summoner armors have low defense, and minions are often inaccurate against enemies that move very quickly. Summon weapons can be used in conjunction with other classes, however the player must take note of summoning weapons’ frequent conflicts with Immunity frames and Calamity’s minion damage nerf when holding other weapons.

Rogue — The rogue class is a brand new class created by the Calamity mod that generally consists of thrown weapons. It utilizes a unique stealth mechanic that adds new attacks to many rogue weapons, decreases enemy Aggro and increases overall damage done by rogue weapons.

All — This «class» describes gear and items that are usable for all classes. Any equipment such as accessories and armor that are not specific to a class will be listed here.

Each class gains more complex abilities as the game progresses, enabling more strategic variety in combat. It is advised for players to try out every weapon they find to help determine what works best for them. It is also recommended to use buff potions and healing potions to increase efficiency and survivability in combat (especially during events and boss fights).

In general, it is recommended to focus on one class. Many armors, accessories and buffs only benefit a specific class, especially later into the game. However, while their damage output may not be as high, backup weapons from another class can be helpful should the situation require a different weapon.

Some items, armors, and accessories have extra abilities that are activated only by using them together. For example, most wings with a corresponding armor set provide additional stat boosts when used with said armor set, in addition to the flight they give.

This guide will not mention Classless weapons that use ammo, such as the Magnum and Bazooka, which deal massive damage but should only be used sparingly due to their limited ammo supply. If a section for a class is blank, please refer to the «All Classes» section of each table.

Foreword

This guide is not meant to be used as a way to see the best weapons or accessories available at a specific point. Instead, it shows some potential gear that players may find useful and that can be obtained at that point in progression. This is because there are many different ways to approach fights and what works well for one person may not work at all for another. Furthermore, there are frequent balance changes to the mod so an item’s relative power level can fluctuate wildly between updates and because of this, the guide is often not completely up-to-date. Players are highly encouraged to treat the guide as a starting point and to experiment with different weapons, accessories and armor sets to see what works best for them.

For a list of weapons for each specific class sorted by progression (albeit extremely roughly), see the respective class’s weapons page and click the small arrow on the sell price column to sort the table by sell price. An example page for melee weapons can be found here.

Similar pages are also available for sub-classes of weapons. An example page for yoyos can be found here.

It utilizes a unique stealth mechanic that adds new attacks to many rogue weapons, decreases enemy Aggro and increases overall damage done by rogue weapons.

ry:Calamity Mod Wiki:Руководства

Terraria calamity mod is one of the most popular terraria mods among the terraria players. Usually, terraria players play calamity mod after they beat all the bosses in terraria vanilla mode (normal terraria).

So If you are looking for a terraria calamity mod class setup guide this article will help you. In terraria vanilla mode there are 4 classes called ranger, mage, melee, and summoner. But there are 5 classes in terraria calamity mode.

  1. Ranger
  2. Mage
  3. Melee
  4. Summoner
  5. Rouge

Calamity mode Ranger setups

terraria calamity mod classes

The ranger class is about guns, rocket launchers, flamethrowers, bows, and more. So if you are decided to play terraria calamity mode as a ranger here are the ranger weapons, armor, and accessories for the first boss fight.

Loadouts for the first pre-hardmode calamity boss fight as a ranger

So the first calamity mod boss is the desert courge. To beat dessert courge as a ranger in terraria calamity mod here is the list of loadout that you need.

Weapons and ammunition

  • Minishark/Boomstick
  • Opal striker
  • Firestorm canon
  • Seabow

For the minishark, boomstick, and opal striker, you can use any bullet to beat the first calamity boss. But I suggest you use acceleration rounds and flash rounds to deal some extra damage.

For the firestorm canon, you can use flares

For the seabow, you can use any type of arrow. But for this boss fight, I suggest for you use jester’s arrows

How to find/craft calamity ranger weapons?

Minishark – If you want to find a minishark you can buy it from the arms dealer NPC.

Boomstick – You can find a boomstick from jungle shrines

Opal striker – you can craft an opal striker with 20 marble blocks, 5 ambers, 3 diamonds, and a flintlock pistol at an iron or a lead anvil. You can use any type of bullet as the ammo.

Seabow – You can craft a seabow using 2 victide bars at an iron/ lead anvil.

Armor

  • Desert prowler armor

terraria calamity mod classes

Desert prowler armor is the perfect ranger armor for this boss fight. You can craft the full armor using 6 desert feathers and 23 silk at a loom.

Accessories

  • Rusty Medallion
  • Cloud in a bottle
  • Frog leg
  • Frostspark Boots
  • Sharktooth necklace
  • Amidias’ spark/Luxor’s Gift
  • Rover Drive

You might not use all of the accessories on this list because all of them are not a must. Here is my suggestion. Use rusty medallion because it is a must.

Also, use forstspark boots and cloud in a bottle to doge attacks so you will get less damage. If you are good at dogging, you won’t get any damage.

Calamity mod mage class setup

terraria calamity mod mage class

The mage class is about wands, guns, spells, and more. When you are using mage weapons it will cost your mana every time. Mana will regenerate slowly unless you use a mana regeneration buff to restore mana fast.

Also, you can use a mana potion to increase your mana fast. So here are the mage load-outs you can use for the first calamity pre-hardmode boss.

What is the best class to pick as a beginner in calamity mod

I recommend you to play as a mixed if you are a beginner. But if you don’t like it you can try this.

Go to calamity mod with a new character and new world. Make sure you are using a mode like Hero. Now beat the dessert scourge using the weapons according to each class I have given. It will help you to get an idea about what you are good at.

Personally, I don’t like to play terraria as a summoner and a mage. But I use minions as a mixed-class player.
