Частотно-регулируемый привод серии EDS1000 имеет множество функции – автоматическое регулирование напряжения, ограничение тока, регулирование скорости потенциометром с клавиатурным управлением, перезапуск отслеживания скорости, функция качания (для текстильной промышленности), блокирование клавиатуры, поддержание постоянного напряжения (для систем водоснабжения), функция управления одним устройством двух и функция управления одним устройством четырех (для водообеспечения). Также имеет несколькой функций защиты – защита от потери фазы входного сигнала, потери фазы выходного сигнала, перенапряжения или недостаточного напряжения, сверхтока и перегрузки.
