Elektromagnetische Ver-

träglichkeit (EMV):

Bei dem vorliegenden Medizinprodukt handelt es sich um ein Gerät mit extrem hohem

Maß an Störfestigkeit. Deshalb wird auf den Druck des Anhangs der EMV-Tabellen

verzichtet.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

1. Die Benutzung der Thermometer ist kein Ersatz für einen Arztbesuch. Anhaltendes Fieber, besonders bei Kin-

dern, muss ärztlich behandelt werden. Bitte setzen Sie sich mit Ihrem Arzt in Verbindung!

2. Die Temperatur von Kindern unter Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen messen.

3. Das Thermometer außer Reichweite von Kindern halten. Kleinteile können sich vom Thermometer ablösen.

Diese können von Kindern verschluckt werden oder es besteht Erstickungsgefahr durch Einatmung der Teile.

4. Dieses Thermometer nicht kochen, nicht darauf beißen, nicht biegen, nicht fallen lassen oder auseinander neh-

men.

5. Öffnen Sie niemals das Thermometer außer zum Wechseln der Batterien.

6. Temperaturmessungen innerhalb von 30 Minuten nach sportlicher Betätigung, nach dem Baden oder Essen vermeiden.

7. Thermometer beim Gebrauch, bei der Aufbewahrung oder beim Transport nie direktem Sonnenlicht, Feuchtigkeit

oder extremen Temperaturen aussetzen und vor Schmutz schützen.

8. Thermometer nicht mehr verwenden, wenn es unregelmäßig arbeitet oder die Anzeige defekt ist.

9. Vor dem Gebrauch das Thermometer auf Zimmertemperatur erwärmen lassen, wenn es bei erheblich nied-

rigeren Temperaturen aufbewahrt wurde.

BATTERIEWECHSEL

1. Wenn das Symbol „

„ erscheint, muss die Batterie ausgewechselt werden.

2. Die Batterieabdeckung vom Thermometer abziehen und dann den

schwarzen Gummi entfernen.

3. Verwenden Sie einen Zahnstocher o. ä., um die Batterieabdeckung und die

alte Batterie zu lösen. Vermeiden Sie dabei scharfe Metallgegenstände.

4. Setzen Sie in das Batteriefach eine neue Batterie ein.

5. Setzen Sie die Batterieabdeckung wieder auf und befestigen Sie diese sicher.

Achtung: Halten Sie die Thermometer und Batterien von Kleinkindern fern. Falls die Batterie verschluckt wurde, nehmen

Sie sofort Kontakt mit einem Krankenhaus auf. Die Batterie nicht ins Feuer werfen, sie könnte explodieren.

ANWENDUNG

1. Desin zieren Sie den Messfühler vor dem Gebrauch mit Ethylalkohol (zum Einreiben).

2. Drücken Sie die EIN-/AUS-Taste. Auf der Anzeige erscheint

3. Lassen Sie die EIN-/AUS-Taste los und auf der Anzeige erscheint L,°C, wobei °C blinkt.

4. Positionieren Sie den Messfühler (oral, rektal oder axillar).

5. Sobald das Thermometer keinen relevanten Temperaturanstieg mehr feststellt, hört °C auf zu blinken, und der

bis dahin gemessene Maximalwert wird angezeigt, wobei eine Reihe von Signaltönen zu hören ist.

6. Das Thermometer setzt die Temperaturmessung nach dem Signalton eine weitere Minute fort, wobei ein weiterer

geringfügiger Anstieg der angezeigten Temperatur möglich ist. Danach wird die gemessene maximale Temperatur

festgehalten und bis zur automatischen Abschaltung nach 3 Minuten auf der LCD-Anzeige angezeigt und gespei-

chert. Oder durch kurzes Drücken des AN/AUS-Knopfes kann das Thermometer direkt ausgeschalten werden.

7. Das Gerät schaltet sich nach ca. 3 Minuten automatisch ab. Um die Lebensdauer der Batterie zu verlängern, sollte das

Thermometer jedoch durch Drücken der EIN-/ AUS-Taste ausgeschaltet werden, nachdem die Temperatur notiert wurde.

BESONDERE MERKMALE

Abruf des letzten Messwerts: Wenn die EIN-/AUS-Taste gedrückt wird, um das Thermometer zu aktivieren, diese 2

Sekunden lang gedrückt halten. Die Anzeige 188.8 ändert sich, um die zuletzt gemessene Temperatur anzuzeigen.

Dieser Ablesewert wird so lange angezeigt, wie die Taste gedrückt gehalten wird. Wird die Taste losgelassen, ist das

Thermometer im „Messbereitschaftsmodus» und die abgerufene Temperatur wird gelöscht.

Fieberindikator: Falls die Temperatur mehr als 37,5 °C (99,5 °F) beträgt, ertönt das Fieberindikatorsignal (ein schnel-

ler Piepton, der etwa 8 Sekunden lang kontinuierlich anhält).

Umschalten zwischen Celsius und Fahrenheit: Schalten Sie das Thermometer ein und drücken und halten Sie die

Ein/Aus-Taste für 2 Sekunden. Um die gewünschte Maßeinheit (°C oder °F) zu speichern, müssen Sie einen Mess-

vorgang vollständig durchführen.

ANMERKUNG: Sie können eine hygienische Einmalhülle auf den Messfühler stecken, um Virenübertragung zu ver-

meiden. Bei Verwendung von Einmalhüllen kann es zu Abweichungen von der tatsächlichen Temperatur von 0,1 °C (0,2 °F)

kommen. Entsorgen Sie die Einmalhüllen nach dem Messen.

MESSMETHODEN

Es ist nur die Messung von Temperaturen möglich, die über der Umgebungstemperatur liegen.

ORAL

Stecken Sie den Messfühler weit unter die Zunge des Patienten. Weisen Sie den

das Einführen zu erleichtern, können Sie Gleitmittel verwenden (keine Rohvaseline).

Führen Sie die Spitze des Messfühlers nicht weiter als 1,5 cm in das Rektum ein.

STOPPEN Sie, falls Sie einen Widerstand spüren. Die Rektaltemperatur ist etwa 0,5

°C bis 1,0 °C (1,0 bis 2,0 °F) höher als die Oraltemperatur.

AXILLAR

Die Achselhöhle mit einem trockenen Handtuch abwischen. Den Messfühler in der Achselhöhle des Patienten plat-

zieren und den Arm des Patienten fest an den Körper gedrückt halten. Die Axillartemperatur ist im Allgemeinen etwa

0,5 °C bis 1,0 °C (1,0 °F bis 2,0 °F) niedriger als die Oraltemperatur. Beachten Sie bitte, dass zum Erreichen eines

besseren Messergebnisses der Axillartemperatur, ungeachtet des Pieptons, eine Mindestmesszeit von 2 bis 3

Minuten empfohlen wird.

Falls Sie Temperaturen von zwei Thermometern vergleichen, ist es möglich, dass Sie zwei unterschiedliche Werte

angezeigt bekommen, selbst wenn beide Thermometer innerhalb ihrer Genauigkeitstoleranz liegen. Es gibt Unterschiede

bei jeder Messung und der Toleranzbereich des Thermometers kann eine Differenz von fast 0,1°C (0,2 °F) ausmachen.

EMPFEHLUNG: Ermitteln Sie Ihre Normaltemperatur und achten Sie auf Veränderungen.

REINIGUNG UND DESINFEKTION

Beim Hausgebrauch den Messfühlerkopf stets vor und nach jeder Benutzung reinigen. Wischen Sie den Messfühler-

kopf mit einer Lösung aus milder Seifenlösung und kaltem Wasser ab. Desin zieren Sie das Thermometer, indem Sie

den Sensor und den unteren Abschnitt des Gehäuses mit einem Tuch abwischen, das zuvor in Alkohol (Empfehlung:

Isopropylalkohol 70 %) getaucht wurde. Das Thermometer ist wasserdicht. Das Thermometer nicht abkochen und

nicht im Autoklaven reinigen.

HINWEISE ZUR ENTSORGUNG

Bei der Entsorgung des Thermometers sowie der Batterien sind die jeweils gültigen Vorschriften zu beachten. Dieses

Thermometer darf nicht zusammen mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Jeder Verbraucher ist verp ichtet, alle elek-

trischen oder elektronischen Geräte, egal, ob sie Schadstoffe enthalten oder nicht, bei einer Sammelstelle

seiner Stadt oder im Handel abzugeben, damit sie einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung zugeführt werden

können. Entnehmen Sie die Batterien, bevor Sie das Thermometer entsorgen. Werfen Sie verbrauchte Bat-

terien nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern in den Sondermüll oder in eine Batterie-Sammelstation im Fachhandel.

GARANTIE

Auf dieses Thermometer wird bei normaler Anwendung für zwei Jahre ab dem Kaufdatum eine Garantie für etwaige

Fehler seitens des Herstellers gewährt. Falls Ihr Gerät aufgrund fehlerhafter Teile oder Montage nicht richtig funkti-

oniert, reparieren wir es kostenlos. Mit Ausnahme der Batterie unterliegen alle Teile des Gerätes dieser Gewährlei-

stung. Durch unsachgemäßen Umgang verursachte Schäden an Ihrem Gerät unterliegen nicht der Gewährleistung.

Bei professioneller Anwendung wird empfohlen, das Gerät alle 2 Jahre von einem autorisierten Labor messtechnisch

überprüfen zu lassen (in Deutschland gesetzlich vorgeschrieben).

PRECAUTIONS

1. Use of this instrument is not intended as a substitute for consultation with your physician. Prolonged high fever

requires medical attention especially for your children. Please contact your physician.

2. Child’s temperature shall be taken under adult’s surveillance.

3. Keep out of the reach of unsupervised children. Choking resulting from a child swallowing a small part that has

become detached from the thermometer.

4. Do not boil, bite, bend, drop or disassemble this thermometer.

5. Do not attempt to disassemble the unit except to replace the battery.

6. Avoid taking temperature in 30 minutes after physical exercises, bathing or dining.

7. Do not store, use and transport the unit under direct sunlight, at a high temperature, or in high humidity or dust.

Performance may be degraded.

8. Stop using the thermometer if it operates erratically or if the display malfunctions.

9. If the thermometer has been stored at below-freezing temperatures, allow the thermometer to warm naturally to

room temperature before using.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

1. When the symbol „

„ appers, the battery needs to be replaced.

2. Remove the battery cover from the thermometer, and then remove the black rubber.

3. Use a toothpick or the like to pry loose the battery cover and the old battery.

Avoid using any sharp metal object in this operation.

4. Place a new battery into the battery holder.

5. Replace and fasten the battery cover securely.

Discard old battery carefully, out of reach of young children.

Do not dispose of the battery in a re. It may explode.

HOW TO USE

1. Disinfect the probe with ethyl (rubbing) alcohol before using.

2. Depress the ON/OFF button. The display will read

4. Place the probe in the appropriate position (oral, rectal or axillary).

5. As soon as the thermometer does not register any further relevant increase in temperature, °C stops ashing and

the maximum value measured up to that time is shown, accompanied by a series of audible signals.

6. The thermometer continues measuring the temperature for a further minute after the audible signals begin, and

in this time there may possibly be a further slight increase in the temperature shown. After that, the maximum

temperature measured is recorded and stored; it remains visible on the LCD display for 3 minutes until the ther-

mometer is automatically switched off. Or short press the ON/OFF button to switch off directly.

7. The unit will automatically turn off in 3 minutes (approx.). However, to prolong battery life, it is best to turn off the

thermometer once the temperature has been noted.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Last Memory Recall: When the ON/OFF button is depressed to activate the thermometer, hold down for approxima-

tely 2 seconds. The display of 188.8 will change to show the last measured temperature. This reading is displayed as

long as the button is held down. When the button is released, the thermometer will be in „ready-to-measure» mode

and the recalled temperature will be erased.

Fever Indicator: If the temperature registers higher than 37.5 °C (99.5 °F), the fever indicator (a quick beeping sound

which occurs continuously for about 8 seconds) will sound when the peak temperature has registered.

Switch between Centigrade and Fahrenheit: After turning on the thermometer, press and hold ON button for 2 se-

conds. In order to store the desired unit of measurement (°C or °F), it is necessary to conduct a complete measuring

procedure.

Note: You may put a sanitary plastic probe shield on the sensor tip to help prevent avoidance of virus transmis-

sion. Use of the probe cover may result in a 0.1 °C (0.2 °F) difference from actual temperature. Dispose of any used

probe shield and store the unit in a safe place.

MEASUREMENT METHODS

It is only is possible to measure temperatures that are above the ambient temperature.

ORAL

Wärme-

Place the probe well under the patient’s tongue. Instruct the patient to keep their

is usually considered between 36.0 °C to 37.5 °C (96.8 °F to 98.6 °F).

RECTAL

If rectal temperature is recommended by your doctor, you may use a probe shield. In-

sert thermometer into the probe shield. Lubricate the probe cover with a water soluble

jelly for easier insertion. Do not use petroleum jelly. Insert tip of probe no more than

1,5 cm (1/2 inch) into rectum. STOP if you meet any resistance. In general, the rectal

temperature is around 0.5 °C to 1.0 °C (1.0 to 2.0 °F) higher than oral temperature.

AXILLARY

Wipe armpit with a dry towel. Place probe in the patient’s armpit and keep the patient’s arm pressed rm-

ly against their side. In general, the axillary temperature is around 0.5 °C to 1.0 °C (1.0 °F to 2.0 °F)

lower than oral temperature.

Note that in order to achieve better axillary temperature measurement result,

a minimum measuring time of 2 to 3 minutes is recommended regardless of the beep sound.

NOTE: If you compare temperatures between two thermometers, it is possible to have two different readings

even if both thermometers are within their accuracy tolerances. Differences in how you take each reading and the

thermometer’s tolerance range can account for nearly 0.1 °C (0.2 °F) variability.

REMEMBER: Find your normal temperature and watch for changes.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

For household use, always clean the probe head before and after each use. Wash the tip with a solution of mild

detergent and cool water. Disinfect the thermometer by wiping the sensor and lower stem with a cloth dipped in a

household antiseptic solution such as rubbing alcohol (recommendation: 70% isopropyl alcohol).

The thermometer is water resistant.

Do not boil or clean in autoclave.

DISPOSAL

Observe the applicable regulations when disposing of the thermometer and batteries.

This thermometer must not be disposed of together with domestic waste. All users are obliged to hand in all electrical

or electronic devices, regardless of whether or not they contain toxic substances, at a municipal or commer-

cial collection point so that they can be disposed of in an environmentally acceptable manner.

Please remove the batteries before disposing of the thermometer. Do not dispose of old batteries with your

household waste, but at a battery collection station at a recycling site or in a shop.

LIMITED WARRANTY

This thermometer is guaranteed for two years from the date of purchase against manufacturer’s defect under normal,

household use. Following the directions closely will ensure years of dependable operation. If the thermometer does

not function properly, rst check the battery (see battery replacement instructions). We recommend that the accuracy

of the unit be checked every 2 years by an authorised laboratory (in Germany this is compulsory).

Replace it if necessary.

2. Mesurer la température d’un enfant sous la surveillance d’un adulte.

3. Tenir ce thermomètre hors de portée des enfants. Des petites pièces peuvent s’en détacher. Celles-ci peuvent

être avalées par des enfants et ils courent un risque d’étouffement en inhalant les pièces.

4. Ne pas faire bouillir ce thermomètre, ne pas le mordre, ne pas le plier, ne pas le faire tomber ou le démonter.

5. Ne jamais ouvrir le thermomètre sauf pour changer la pile.

6. Eviter de prendre la température moins de 30 minutes après un effort, un bain ou un repas.

7. Ne jamais exposer le thermomètre, lors de son utilisation, de son rangement ou de son transport à la lumière

directe du soleil, l’humidité ou à des températures extrêmes et le protéger des salissures.

8. Ne plus utiliser le thermomètre s’il ne fonctionne pas correctement ou si l’af chage est défectueux.

9. Avant utilisation, laisser le thermomètre se réchauffer à température ambiante s’il a été conservé à des tempéra-

tures considérablement plus basses.

REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILE

1. Lorsque le symbole «

» apparaît, il est temps de changer la pile.

2. Retirer le cache-pile du thermomètre.

3. Pour extraire la pile, prenez un cure-dent ou autre chose, mais évitez les

objets métalliques tranchants.

4. Insérez une pile neuve dans le compartiment.

5. Remettez le couvercle du compartiment en place et verrouillez-le.

APPLICATION

1. Désinfecter la sonde avec de l’alcool éthylique (en lotion) avant l’utilisation.

2. Appuyer sur la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT.

3. Relâchez la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT, L, °C apparraît sur l’af chage et °C clignote.

4. Positionnez la sonde (orale, rectale ou axillaire).

5. Dès que le thermomètre ne détecte plus d’augmentation importante de la température, le °C arrête de clignoter, la valeur

maximale mesurée jusqu’à présent s’af che et une série de signaux sonores retentit.

6. Le thermomètre poursuit la mesure de la température pendant une minute après le signal sonore et une petite augmen-

tation de la température af chée est encore possible. Ensuite, la température maximale mesurée est maintenue puis

enregistrée et s’af che sur l’af chage LCD jusqu’à l’extinction automatique après 3 minutes. Vous pouvez également

éteindre le thermomètre directement en appuyant brièvement sur le bouton ON/OFF.

7. L’appareil s’éteint automatiquement après env. 3 minutes. Pour prolonger la durée de vie de la batterie, il est préférable

d’éteindre le thermomètre en appuyant sur la touche MARCHE/ARRÊT après avoir noté la température.

CARACTÉRISTIQUES PARTICULIÈRES

Rappel du dernier résultat de mesure: Au lieu d’actionner le bouton MARCHE/ARRÊT pour activer le thermomètre, le

maintenir enfoncé pendant 2 secondes. L’af chage 188.8 passe alors à la température mesurée en dernier. Celle-ci

reste af chée aussi longtemps que l’on garde le bouton enfoncé. Dès que celui-ci est relâché, le thermomètre passe

en « mode attente de mesure » et le résultat consulté s’efface.

Indicateur de èvre: Si la température est supérieure à 37,5° C (99,5 °F), le signal d’avertissement retentit (un bip

rapide qui retentit en continu pendant environ 8 secondes).

Commutation entre Celsius et Fahrenheit: allumez le thermomètre, appuyez sur la touche marche/arrêt et mainte-

nez-la enfoncée pendant 2 secondes. Pour enregistrer l’unité de mesure souhaitée (°C ou °F), vous devez exécuter

un processus de mesure complet.

NOTE: Vous pouvez coiffer la sonde de mesure d’un embout hygiénique jetable permettant d’éviter la trans-

mission de virus. L’emploi des embouts jetables est censé causer un léger écart de 0,1 °C (0,2 °F) par rapport à la

température réelle. En n de mesure, éliminez l’embout jetable dans le respect de l’environnement.

Il est seulement possible de mesurer une température qui se situe au-dessus de la température ambiante.

Glissez la sonde de mesure loin sous la langue du patient et demandez-lui de garder

tre. Vous pouvez l’enduire d’un peu de lubri ant (pas de vaseline brute) pour en faciliter

la pénétration. N’engagez pas la sonde de mesure de plus de 1,5 cm dans le rectum. Si

vous percevez une résistance, ARRÊTEZ immédiatement. La température rectale est

d’env. 0,5 °C à 1,0 °C (1,0 °F à 2,0 °F) supérieure à la température buccale.

EN SITE AXILLAIRE

S’essuyer l’aisselle avec une serviette sèche. Positionner la sonde de mesure au creux de l’aisselle du patient et

lui demander de rabattre le bras fermement contre le corps. La température axillaire est en général de 0,5 °C à

1,0 °C (1,0 à 2,0 °F) inférieure à la température buccale. Veuillez observer que pour obtenir un meilleur résultat de

mesure de la température axillaire, il est conseillé de respecter une durée de mesure de 2 à 3 minutes au moins

en passant outre le signal sonore.

Si vous deviez comparer les températures af chées par deux thermomètres, vous allez peut être avoir deux

résultats différents alors même que les deux instruments se situent dans leur marge de précision. Chaque

mesure peut révéler des écarts et la plage de tolérance du thermomètre peut se solder par un écart de près de

0,1 °C (0,2 °F).

CONSEIL : Déterminez votre température normale et soyez attentif à toutes variation

NETTOYAGE ET DÉSINFECTION

Nettoyer la tête de la sonde avant et après chaque utilisation en cas d’usage domestique. Essuyez la tête de la

sonde avec une solution à base de solution savonneuse douce et de l’eau chaude. Désinfectez le thermomètre en

essuyant la sonde et la partie inférieure du boîtier avec un chiffon plongé au préalable dans l’alcool recommandation:

alcool isopropylique 70 %).

Le thermomètre est étanche. Ne pas sécher le thermomètre et ne pas le nettoyer dans un autoclave.

TRAITEMENT DES DÉCHETS

Pour le traitement du thermomètre et des piles usagés, il convient de respecter la législation en vigueur. Ce ther-

momètre ne doit pas être jeté avec les ordures ménagères. Chaque utilisateur est tenu de restituer tous les appareils

électriques et electroniques, qu’ils contiennent des produits nocifs ou non, auprès d’un centre de collecte de

sa commune ou dans le commerce, a n qu’ils soient traités en respectant l’environnement.

Otez les piles avant de recycler le thermomètre. Ne jetez pas les piles usagées avec les ordures ménagères

mais dans une déchetterie ou apportez-les dans un centre de collecte dans le commerce.

LIMITATION DE GARANTIE

Le fabricant accorde sur ce thermomètre, dans les conditions d’un usage normal, une garantie contractuelle de 2 ans

à compter de la date d’achat et couvrant les vices de fabrication.

Le respect scrupuleux des indications données garantit pendant de longues années un fonctionnement irréprocha-

ble. Dans l’hypothèse d’une malfonction, commencez par véri er la pile (voir les conseils relatifs au changement de

la pile). Le cas échéant, la remplacer par une neuve.

AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA

1. L’utilizzo del termometro non sostituisce la visita medica. Una febbre persistente, in particolare nei bambini, deve

essere curata da un medico. Contattare il proprio medico a questo proposito.

2. Misurare la temperatura nei bambini sotto la sorveglianza di un adulto.

3. Tenere il termometro lontano dalla portata dei bambini. Le parti di piccole dimensioni possono staccarsi dal termo-

metro, e possono essere ingerite dai bambini, oppure possono costituire pericolo di soffocamento per inalazione.

4. Non far bollire il termometro, non morderlo, non piegarlo, non smontarlo né lasciarlo cadere.

5. Non aprire mai il termometro se non per sostituire le batterie.

6. Evitare di misurare la temperatura subito dopo attività sportive, dopo aver mangiato o fatto il bagno; in questi casi

attendere almeno 30 minuti.

7. Non esporre mai il termometro alla luce diretta del sole, all’umidità o a temperature estreme durante l’uso, la custo-

dia o durante il trasporto, proteggerlo inoltre dalla sporcizia.

8. Non utilizzare più il termometro se non funziona in maniera non regolare, oppure se il display è difettoso.

9. Se il termometro è stato custodito a temperature molto basse, farlo riscaldare a temperatura ambiente prima di

utilizzarlo.

SOSTITUZIONE DELLA BATTERIA

IMPIEGO

1. Disinfettare il sensore di misurazione prima dell’uso con alcol etilico (da frizionare).

2. Premere il tasto ON/OFF. Sull’indicatore compare

ou

3. Rilasciare il tasto ON/OFF e sull’indicatore verrà visualizzato L,°C, con °C lampeggiante.

4. Posizionare il sensore di misurazione (orale, rettale o ascellare).

5. Non appena il termometro non rileva più nessun aumento signi cativo della temperatura, °C smette di lampeg-

giare e viene visualizzato il valore massimo misurato no a questo momento con l’emissione di una serie di

segnali acustici.

6. Il termometro prosegue per un altro minuto nella misurazione della temperatura dopo il segnale acustico, ed è

pertanto possibile un ulteriore limitato aumento della temperatura visualizzata. Quindi la temperatura massima

rilevata viene mantenuta e visualizzata e salvata sul display LCD no alla disattivazione automatica dopo 3

minuti. Oppure il termometro può essere disattivato direttamente con una breve pressione della manopola ON/OFF.

7. L’apparecchio si spegne dopo circa 3 minuti automaticamente. Per prolungare la durata della batteria, il termo-

metro dovrebbe tuttavia essere disattivato premendo il tasto ON/OFF dopo il rilevamento e l’annotazioen della

temperatura.

CARATTERISTICHE PARTICOLARI

Consultazione dell’ultimo valore di misurazione: premere il tasto ON/OFF e tenerlo premuto per 2 secondi per atti-

vare il termometro. La visualizzazione 188.8 si modi ca per visualizzare l’ultima temperatura rilevata. Questo valore

rimane visualizzato nché viene tenuto premuto il tasto. Rilasciando il tasto, il termometro passa alla «modalità di

misurazione» e la temperatura consultata viene cancellata.

Indicatore della febbre: se la temperatura è superiore a 37,5°C (99,5° F), viene emesso il segnale acustico indicatore

della febbre (un suono rapido che prosegue per circa 8 secondi).

Commutazione gradi Centigradi e Fahrenheit: Attivare il termometro e selezionare e mantenere premuto il tasto

On/Off per 2 secondi. Per salvare l’unità di misura selezionata (°C o °F) è necessario eseguire una procedura di

misurazione completa.

OSSERVAZIONE: è possibile rivestire il sensore di misurazione con una protezione igienica usa e getta per

evitare la trasmissione di virus. Utilizzando una protezione, la temperatura reale potrà essere falsata di 0,1°C (0,2

°F). Dopo la misurazione smaltire la protezione usa e getta.

temperatura orale.

ASCELLARE

Asciugare bene l’ascella con un fazzoletto asciutto. Posizionare la sonda di misurazione nell’ascella del paziente e

tenere il braccio del paziente ben aderente al corpo. La temperatura ascellare è generalmente da ca. 0,5 °C no ad

1,0 °C (1,0 °F no ad 2,0 °F) minore di quella orale. Notare che per raggiungere un miglior risultato di misurazione

della temperatura ascellare si raccomanda un tempo di misurazione minimo da 2 a 3 minuti indipendente-

mente dall’emissione del segnale acustico.

Se si confrontano le temperature di due termometri è possibile che vengano visualizzati due valori diversi, an-

che se entrambi i termometri rientrano nella stessa tolleranza di precisione. Ad ogni misurazione ci sono delle

differenze, e il campo di tolleranza del termometro può costituire una differenza di quasi 0,1 °C (0,2 °F).

SUGGERIMENTO: rilevare la temperatura normale e osservare le eventuali variazioni.

PULITURA E DISINFEZIONE

In caso di impiego domestico pulire sempre la testina del sensore di misurazione prima e dopo ogni utilizzo.

Pulire la testina del sensore di misurazione con una soluzione a base di sapone delicato e acqua fredda. Disinfet-

tare il termometro frizionando il sensore e la parte inferiore del corpo con un panno precedentemente imbevuto

nell’alcool (suggerimento: alcool isopropile 70%). Il termometro è a tenuta stagna.

Non fare bollire il termometro e non pulirlo nell’autoclave.

AVVERTENZE SULLO SMALTIMENTO

Osservare le norme vigenti durante lo smaltimento del termometro e delle batterie. Il termometro non deve essere

smaltito insieme ai ri uti domestici. Gli utenti sono tenuti a conferire tutti gli apparecchi elettrici o elettronici, indi-

pendentemente dalle sostanze nocive in essi contenute, presso un punto di raccolta comunale o presso il

rivenditore, di modo che possano essere smaltiti nel rispetto dell’ambiente.

Rimuovere le batterie prima di smaltire il termometro. Non gettare le batterie usate nei ri uti domestici, bensì

nei ri uti speciali, oppure conferirle in una stazione di raccolta apposita presso un rivenditore specializzato.

GARANZIA LIMITATA

A questo termometro, con un utilizzo normale, viene applicata una garanzia di due anni dalla data di acquisto per

eventuali difetti di fabbricazione.

Se si seguono attentamente le avvertenze, il termometro funzionerà in modo af dabile per anni. Se il termometro

non dovesse funzionare correttamente, controllare anzitutto la batteria (vedi le avvertenze relative alla sostituzione

della batteria), ed eventualmente sostituirla.

Термометр Geratherm я приобрела будучи беременной, так как у меня были только ртутные термометры, а измерять ими температуру малышу совсем не хотелось. И, заранее приобретая вещички для малыша, выбрала данный немецкий термометр оранжевого цвета с гибким наконечником, кстати один из не самых дешевых на тот момент. У меня были подарочные сертификаты на сайте [ссылка], поэтому можно сказать, что он мне достался бесплатно.

???Цена: 407 руб на момент написания отзыва (сейчас цена со скидкой 25%), но момент моей покупки он стоил 619 руб.

Батарея была уже вставлена, термометр приобретался в 2017 году, правда использовала я этот термометр от силы раз 20.

???Внешний вид упаковки: Термометр был упакован в картонную полукоробочку с окошком, в которое можно было рассмотреть его, не вскрывая упаковку. Коробочки у меня, к сожалению, не сохранилось. На ней были нарисованы часики, которые показывали 9 секунд-время измерения температуры данным аппаратом и улыбающийся мальчик. Ну, а зная, что 9 секунд в Германии, это 9 секунд, и ни секундой больше, я решила, что вещь хорошая, и надо брать.)

???Внешний вид самого термометра: Термометр имеет прозрачный футляр, который почти полностью закрывает термометр и защищает от случайного нажатия кнопки.

Цвет прибора оранжевый с белым. Размеры 14 х 21 х 135 мм, весит около 40-50 грамм. Он легкий и компактный, имеет гибкий пластиковый наконечник, который заканчивается золотистым датчиком-сенсором.

Гибкий наконечник предотвращает возможность пораниться маленькому ребенку.

На передней панели есть единственная кнопка start, которая включает и выключает измерения. При нажатии на кнопку раздается сигнал, и начинается измерение.

Потом звучит несколько отрывистых сигналов, символизирующих о том, что измерения закончены, также при выключении звучит один короткий сигнал. Выключить можно самостоятельно, нажав на кнопку, или со временем термометр отключается сам.

То, что он водонепроницаемый, я не проверяла, после использования протираю его обычно влажной или спиртовой салфеткой. И также функцией памяти на последнее измерение, я тоже не пользовалась. Цифры у него действительно крупные, черного цвета.

???Мой опыт применения:

Термометр я приобрела по большей части для ребенка. Первые измерения температуры мне совсем не удались. Я по-началу измеряла температуру подмышкой, дочка очень его пугалась, кричала и дергалась. Само измерение длилось по субъективным ощущениям дольше 9-15 секунд до сигнала. Температуру термометр часто показывал не выше 35 градусов, хотя по ощущениям, она была не ниже 37-37,5.

Затем, мне наш педиатр немного прояснила тонкости использования данных термометров (в поликлинике она мерила подобным температуру):

1. Можно измерять температуру в любой складке (то есть в сгибе ножки или ручки)
2. После сигнала надо еще ждать около минуты, пока температура на термометре не перестанет расти

Честно сказать эти советы помогли лишь чуть-чуть. Так как мой ребенок не будет сидеть спокойно 1,5 минуты с этим аппаратом, где бы он не был (про оральное и ректальное измерение, я даже не пробовала, дабы не поломать всем психику истерикой) Хотя, возможно, для взрослого человека этот вариант неплохой.

В любом случае измерения занижены на почти 2 градуса. Выходит, если термометр показывает 36, это значит около 38, и надо бить тревогу. Но зачем такое приблизительное измерение вообще нужно, непонятно.

???Замена батареи: Батарейка очень маленькая, достать ее можно, открыв верхний колпачок и сняв резиновую штучку. Доставать ее очень трудно, даже с моими мелкими пальцами, надо чем-то ее оттуда подцепить, сидит батарейка очень плотно. Так что процедура эта для меня оказалась трудоёмкой.

???Мини-эксперимент: (проводила на себе)

Итак, включаю термометр и измеряю температуру в сгибе локтя. Время до сигнала около 20-30 секунд. Вот, что он мне показывает:

Продолжаю мерить, температура понемногу растет:

Устаю мерить в сгибе локтя около минуты, измеряю просто в руке, температура дальше немного растет:

Проходит еще минута:

Выключаю термометр(сбрасываю). Измеряю подмышкой до сигнала.

И еще 2 минуты сижу жду, рост температуры уже идет быстрее, вот уже что-то похоже на правду 36,3 градуса, правда не мои обычные 36,6.

Дальше температура не увеличивается.

Итого около 5 минут ушло на измерения, за это время можно измерить и ртутным термометром, а ребенок весь изведется. Правда в ртутном при возрастных изменениях зрения трудно разбираться в показаниях по шкале, и в электронном не надо ничего сотрясать, чтобы сбить температуру.

???Вывод: с одной стороны этот термометр почти бесполезен, не смотря на свои преимущества в виде гибкого наконечника, красивого и удобного дизайна, милой расцветки, простоты использования, больших цифр, но с другой стороны за такой ценовой диапазон до 500-700 рублей из серии электронных цифровых термометров, вряд ли можно найти достойную альтернативу, а температуру мерить детям как-то все-равно надо, не ртутным же градусником. Хотя рекомендовать для взрослых можно.
