Радиоприёмник »Звезда-54» разработан Институтом радиовещательного приёма и акустики ИРПА МРТП СССР. Он имеет весьма необычный, привлекательный вид, считавшийся пределом совершенства дизайнеров (оформителей) тех лет. Корпус радиоприёмника штампован из металла, с применением никелирования и многослойного лакирования. Приёмник представляет собой семиламповый супергетеродин 2-го класса, собранный на радиолампах типа 6А7, 6Ж3П (2 шт), 6Х2П, 6П1П, 6Е5С и 6Ц4П и работающий в 5 диапазонах: ДВ — 150…410 кГц, СВ — 520…1600 кГц, КВ1 — 6,13…7,34 МГц, КВ2 — 9,5…12,1 МГц и обзорном КВ3 — 3,95…12,1 МГц. ПЧ 465 кгц. Чувствительность в ДВ, СВ 200, КВ 300 мкВ. Избирательность по соседнему каналу 26, по зеркальным 36 дБ в диапазонах СВ, ДВ и 12 дБ в КВ поддиапазонах. Номинальная выходная мощность 1,5 Вт. Диапазон воспроизводимых звуковых частот 150…4000 Гц. Питание от сети 127 или 220 вольт. Потребляемая мощность 60 Вт. Габариты приёмника 530х320х180 мм.     Before first applying power, make sure all connections [POWER] required for your system are complete by referring to section 2. Then, reset the transceiver using the fol- lowing procedure. When using a repeater, the transmit frequency is shifted from the receive fre- quency by an offset frequency.
