together with the irregular heartbeat symbol (     ). If

Thank you for purchasing the OMRON R3 Opti Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor.

The OMRON R3 Opti is a compact and easy to use blood pressure monitor, 
operating on the oscillometric principle. It measures your blood pressure and 
pulse rate simply and quickly. For comfortable controlled inflation without the 
need of pressure pre-setting or re-inflation the devices uses its advanced 
“IntelliSense” technology.

Intended Use

This product is designed to measure the blood pressure and pulse rate of 
people within the range of the designated wrist cuff, following the instructions in 
this instruction manual.
It is mainly designed for general household use. Please read the Important 
Safety Information in this instruction manual before using the unit.

doctor before using the unit, as cuff inflation can cause internal bleeding.

• If battery fluid should get in your eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of clean 

water. Consult a doctor immediately.

(General Usage)

• Do not leave the unit unattended with infants or persons who cannot express 

their consent.

• Do not use the unit for any purpose other than measuring blood pressure.
• Do not disassemble the unit or wrist cuff.
• Do not inflate the wrist cuff over 299 mmHg.
• Do not use a mobile phone or other devices that emit electromagnetic fields, 

near the unit. This may result in incorrect operation of the unit.

• Do not operate unit in a moving vehicle (car, airplane).

(Battery Usage)

• If battery fluid should get on your skin or clothing, immediately rinse with 

plenty of clean water.

• Use only two “AAA” alkaline (LR03) batteries with this unit. Do not use other 

types of batteries.

• Do not insert the batteries with their polarities incorrectly aligned.
• Replace old batteries with new ones immediately. Replace both batteries at 

the same time.

• Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for three months or more.
• Do not use new and used batteries together.

General Precautions

• Do not apply strong shocks and vibrations to or drop the unit.
• Do not take measurements after bathing, drinking alcohol, smoking, 

exercising or eating.

• Do not inflate the wrist cuff when it is not wrapped around your wrist.
• Do not wash the wrist cuff or immerse it in water.
• Read and follow the “Important information regarding Electro Magnetic 

Compatibility (EMC)” in the Technical Data Section.

• Read and follow the “Correct Disposal of This Product” in the Technical Data 

Section when disposing of the device and any used accessories or optional 
parts.

Remove the battery cover.
1) Push the hook on the bottom of 

the battery cover.

2) Pull the cover off the main unit.

Insert two 1.5V “AAA” alkaline (LR03) 
batteries as indicated in the battery 
compartment and then replace the 
battery cover.

Notes:
• If the battery low symbol (     ) appears on the display, turn the unit off 

then replace both batteries at the same time.

• The measurement values continue to be stored in memory even after 

the batteries are replaced.

Disposal of used batteries should be carried out in accordance with the 
national regulations for the disposal of batteries.

Set the monitor to the correct date and time before 
taking a measurement for the first time.

Press the     button.

Do not apply over clothing.

Place the wrist cuff over your wrist.

Wrap the wrist cuff around your wrist.

Your thumb should face upward.

Make sure that the wrist cuff does not cover 
the protruding part of the wrist bone (ulna) on 
the outside of the wrist.

Notes:
• You can take a measurement on either 

your left or right wrist.

• The blood pressure can differ between the right 

arm and the left arm, and therefore also the 
measured blood pressure values can be 
different. Omron recommends to always use 
the same arm for measurement. If the values 
between the two arms differ substantially, 
please check with your physician which arm to 
use for your measurement.

• Wrap the wrist cuff securely around the 

wrist for taking accurate measurements.

Press the O/I START button to store the setting.

Notes:
• To reset the date and time, hold down the      button while the power 

is off.

• If the batteries have been removed for 30 seconds or more, the date 

and time setting will need to be reset.

• If the date and time are not set, “-:—” appears during or after 

measurement.

To take a measurement, you need to be relaxed and comfortably seated, under 
comfortable room temperature. No eating, smoking or exercising 30 minutes 
before taking a measurement.

• Sit on a chair with your feet flat on the floor.

To delete all the values stored in memory

When the memory symbol (     ) appears, first press the MEM button. Then 
while holding it down, press the O/I START button simultaneously for about 
2-3 seconds.

Note:  You cannot partially delete the stored readings.

Note: The irregular heartbeat symbol (     ) may also be displayed with error 

messages.

4.3   Maintenance

To protect your unit from damage, please avoid the following:

• Subjecting your unit to extreme temperatures, humidity, 

or direct sunlight.

• Washing the cuff or exposing the cuff or unit to water. 
• Disassembling the unit.
• Subjecting the unit to strong shocks or vibrations. 

Dropping the Unit.

• Cleaning the unit with volatile liquids.

• The unit should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth.
• Use a soft, moistened cloth and soap to clean the cuff.
• Keep the unit in its storage case when not in use.
• Fold the cuff into the storage case.
Do not store the unit in the following situations:
• If the unit is wet.
• Locations exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, 

direct sunlight, dust or corrosive vapours.

• Locations exposed to vibrations, shocks or where it will 

be at risk of falling.

Calibration and Service

• The accuracy of this blood pressure monitor has been 

carefully tested and is designed for a long service life.

• It is generally recommended to have the unit inspected 

every two years to ensure correct functioning and 
accuracy. Please consult your authorised OMRON 
dealer or the OMRON Customer Service at the address 
given on the packaging or attached literature.

• This device fulfils the provisions of EC directive 93/42/EEC (Medical Device

Important information regarding Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC)

With the increased number of electronic devices such as PC’s and mobile 
(cellular) telephones, medical devices in use may be susceptible to 
electromagnetic interference from other devices. Electromagnetic interference

на запястье OMRON R3 Opti.
OMRON R3 Opti — это компактный и простой в использовании прибор для измерения 

артериального давления, работающий на основе осциллометрического метода. Он 

легко и быстро измеряет артериальное давление и частоту пульса. Прибор

инструкций в этом руководстве.

Рекомендуется преимущественно для использования в домашних условиях.

ной работе прибора.

•  Не используйте прибор в движущемся транспортном средстве (автомобиль, 

самолет).

(Использование батарей)

•  При попадании электролита из батареи на кожу или одежду немедленно 

промойте их большим количеством чистой воды.

•  Используйте в этом приборе только две щелочные батареи типа «AAA» (LR03). 

Не используйте батареи другого типа.

•  При установке батарей обязательно соблюдайте полярность.

•  Немедленно заменяйте старые батареи. Обе батареи нужно заменять одновре-

менно.

•  Если Вы не собираетесь использовать прибор в течение трех или более месяцев, 

выньте батареи.

•  Не используйте новые и старые батареи вместе.

Снимите крышку батарейного отсека.
1) Нажмите на рычажок в нижней 

части крышки отсека для батарей.

2) Снимите крышку с электронного 

блока.

Вставьте две щелочные батареи 
«AAA» 1,5 В (LR03) согласно схеме в 
отсеке и установите крышку на место.

Примечания.
•  Если на экране появился значок низкого заряда батарей (      ), 

выключите устройство, затем замените сразу обе батареи.

•  Значения результатов измерений остаются в памяти даже после 

замены батарей.

Батареи следует утилизировать в соответствии с государственными 
правилами, предназначенными для данного случая.

Перед первым измерением установите в тонометре 
нужную дату и время.

Манжету нельзя накладывать поверх одежды.

Поместите манжету на запястье.

Оберните манжету вокруг запястья.

Большой палец должен быть обращен вверх.

Убедитесь, что манжета не закрывает 
выступающую часть локтевой кости на краю 
запястья.

Примечания.
•  Измерение можно производить на левом 

или правом запястье.

•  Артериальное давление на правой руке и 

левой руке может быть разным; по этой 
причине могут различаться также и его 
измеренные значения. Компания Omron 
рекомендует всегда измерять давление на 
одной и той же руке. При существенном 
различии значений для разных рук посоветуй-
тесь с врачом, на какой руке проводить 
измерения.

•  Надежно оберните манжету вокруг запястья 

для обеспечения точных измерений.

•  При переполнении памяти прибор удаляет самые старые измерения.
•  При просмотре измерений, сделанных без установленной даты и 

времени, на дисплее вместо даты и времени отображается индикация 
«-:—».

4.3   Уход

Для предотвращения повреждений прибора, пожалуйста, не 
допускайте:

• Воздействия на прибор чрезмерно высокой или низкой

прибор.

• Разборки прибора.
• Воздействия на прибор сильных ударов или вибраций. 

Падения прибора.

• Чистки прибора с помощью растворителей. 

• Прибор следует чистить мягкой сухой тканью.
• Для чистки манжеты используйте мягкую влажную ткань и 

мыло.

• Когда прибор не используется, храните его в футляре.
• Сложите манжету и положите ее в футляр.
Прибор нельзя хранить в следующих условиях:
• высокая влажность;
• место хранения подвержено воздействию высоких темпера-

тур, влажности, действию прямых солнечных лучей, пыли или 
едких паров;

• в месте хранения имеются вибрации, удары или существует 

риск падения.

Проверка и обслуживание

• Точность данного прибора для измерения артериального 

давления была тщательно проверена и сохраняется в 
течение длительного времени.

• Рекомендуется проверять точность измерения и правиль-

ность работы прибора каждые два года. Пожалуйста, свяжи-
тесь с полномочным представителем OMRON или с Центром 
обслуживания клиентов OMRON по адресу, указанному на 
упаковке, или в приложенной документации.

основании положительных результатов поверки признан годным к применению. 
Поверительное клеймо находится на корпусе прибора в виде наклейки.
Поверку проводят по документу МИ 2582-2000 «Рекомендация. ГСИ. Измерите-
ли артериального давления и частоты пульса автоматические и полуавтомати-
ческие OMRON и MARSHALL. Методика поверки», утвержденному ВНИИОФИ и 
зарегистрированному ВНИИМС. 
Межповерочный интервал 2 года.

Примечание: при выводе сообщений об ошибках может также 

высвечиваться символ нерегулярного сердцебиения (     ).

Важная информация об электромагнитной совместимости (ЭМС)

Поскольку количество таких электронных устройств, как ПК и мобильные 
(сотовые) телефоны, увеличивается, используемые медицинские приборы могут 
быть чувствительными к электромагнитным помехам, создаваемым другими 
устройствами. Электромагнитные помехи могут нарушать работу медицинского 
прибора и создавать потенциально небезопасную ситуацию.
Медицинские приборы также не должны мешать функционированию других 
устройств.

Чтобы регламентировать требования по ЭМС (электромагнитной совместимости) 
с целью предотвращения возникновения небезопасных ситуаций, связанных с 
использованием продукции, был введен в действие стандарт EN60601-1-2:2007. 
Этот стандарт определяет уровни устойчивости к электромагнитным помехам, а 
также максимальные уровни электромагнитного излучения применительно к 
медицинскому оборудованию.

Данный медицинский прибор, произведенный компанией OMRON HEALTHCARE, 
удовлетворяет требованиям стандарта EN60601-1-2:2007 относительно 
устойчивости к помехам и испускаемого излучения.
Тем не менее следует соблюдать специальные меры предосторожности:
• Вблизи данного медицинского прибора не следует использовать мобильные 

(сотовые) телефоны и прочие устройства, которые генерируют сильные 
электрические или электромагнитные поля. Это может нарушать работу прибора 
и создавать потенциально небезопасную ситуацию. Рекомендуется соблюдать 
дистанцию не менее 7 м. Удостоверьтесь в правильности работы прибора, если 
дистанция меньше.

данный продукт не подлежит утилизации вместе с другими

Фармакологическое действие

Тонометр на запястье OMRON R3 Opti — это надежный и компактный автоматический измеритель артериального давления и частоты пульса, который отличается от базовых моделей тонометров на запястье OMRON R1 и OMRON R2 наличием более широкого набора потребительских функций.

Тонометр OMRON R3 Opti, как и все автоматические тонометры на запястье Omron, использует интеллектуальную технологию Intellisense, которая управляет процессом измерения подобно врачу, что позволяет исключить избыточную компрессию и повторное нагнетание воздуха в манжету, обеспечивая, тем самым, оптимальное давление в манжете при каждом измерении. В результате получается максимально точный результат при комфортной и безболезненной для пациента процедуре вычисления артериального давления.

Тонометр OMRON R3 Opti оснащен крупным дисплеем, который позволяет отчетливо видеть результаты измерений. А также, памятью на шестьдесят измерений с фиксацией времени и даты, что, при необходимости, позволяет выследить и рассчитать разницу артериального давления в отдельных промежутках времени.

Тонометр OMRON R3 Opti вычисляет среднее значение на основе последних трех показаний, снятых в течение 10 минут. (Если в памяти имеются только два измерения за этот период времени, то выводится среднее значение для этих двух измерений. Если в памяти есть только одно измерение за этот период времени, то среднее значение рассчитывается на основании этого одного измерения).

Индикатор уровня АД в запястном тонометре OMRON R3 Opti обладает совершенной системой информирования пользователя о повышенном артериальном давлении.

Помимо указанных выше функций прибор оборудован индикаторам аритмии и датчиком движения.

Тонометр OMRON R3 Opti прост в использовании и для управления прибором не требуются специальные навыки. Прибор оснащен специальной технологией энергосбережения. Благодаря ей, одного набора батареек хватит примерно на 300 измерений давления без замены источника питания
