A catalyst causes a chemical reaction during manufacture that bonds these layers permanently into a hard, strong material. With a mini- mum amount of care and cleaning, your whirlpool spa will look new for years. To clean your spa, simply use a mild, nonabrasive liquid detergent, isopropyl alcohol, or commercially pre- pared spa cleaner.
