Мембрана (пьезопластина) датчика испытывает на себе давление среды, а затем преобразовывает его в электрические сигналы, которые передают далее на аппаратуру. Все датчики для этого оборудованы выходными коннекторами для подключения к контроллерам.

Электронные датчики давления с аналоговым выходом 4-20 мА или 0-10 В применяются на промышленных предприятиях, так и в коммунальной сфере. Прибор преобразует давление среды с внешней мембраны в электрический сигнал — унифицированный линейный 4-20мА или 0-10 В.
