    An optional printer can be connected in both use scenarios. Use with the SAILOR 6004 Control panel The SAILOR 6004 Control panel is the user interface for the SAILOR 6390 Navtex Receiver. The user interface is in English. All settings that are relevant for the user are accessed through the touch panel.

    • Operation with INS equipment Operation – SAILOR 6004 Control Panel As soon as DC power is provided the SAILOR 6390 Navtex Receiver is on. To switch on the SAILOR 6004 Control Panel push the power button. Operate the SAILOR 6004 Control Panel by tapping the touch screen.

    Operation – SAILOR 6004 Control Panel Dim and night mode Turn the dim knob of the SAILOR 6004 Control Panel to increase or decrease the display brightness. The display goes into night mode either when turning the dim knob counterclockwise or when the internal light sensor detects the light level for changing to night mode To dim to level zero push the power button once.

    Operation – SAILOR 6004 Control Panel Sorting the list of Navtex messages To sort the list of Navtex messages tap the heading of the column. Tap it again to toggle the sorting order, ascending or descending. The default sorting is for Time, newest on top.

    Operation – SAILOR 6004 Control Panel Navtex message in detail To view the full Navtex message, do as follows: 1. Tap the message. The first part of the message is the Navtex message, the second part of the message starting with Station gives some status information.

    SAR messages When a SAR message (message type D, see page 13) is received, the SAILOR 6390 Navtex Receiver emits an audible signal and the message is displayed as a popup in the SAILOR 6004 Control Panel’s display. An unread SAR message triggers a warning alert, which is indicated in the bottom bar.

    Filters for stations and message types You can customize the SAILOR 6390 Navtex Receiver to receive Navtex messages of certain types and from selected coast stations. You can filter separately for printer output, SAILOR 6004 Control Panel (Display) and INS installations.

    The SAILOR 6390 Navtex Receiver applies header and footer information to the printout, stating frequency, date and time of reception and serial number of the SAILOR 6390 Navtex Receiver. If the printed message line is longer than allowed  on the printer, the printer inserts the sign to indicate a forced line division and breaks the line.

    • Service and repair Maintenance Maintenance of the SAILOR 6390 Navtex Receiver can be reduced to a maintenance check at each visit of the service staff. Inspect the unit for mechanical damages, salt deposits, corrosion and any foreign material. Due to its robust construction and ruggedness the unit has a long lifetime.

    Alerts and notifications Alerts and notifications Introduction to alerts and notifications The SAILOR 6390 Navtex Receiver reports alerts of the type warning and caution, and complies with the requirements for Bridge Alert Management according to IEC-62923-1 (2018) and IEC-62923-2 (2018).

    When receiving a request to transfer the responsibility using ACN sentence, the SAILOR 6390 Navtex Receiver will evaluate that request. If the request is denied, the SAILOR 6390 Navtex Receiver will report the refusal using ARC sentence to the external BAM-compliant equipment that requested transfer of responsibility.

Sailor 6390 NAVTEX receiver

Приемник НАВТЕКС Sailor 6390 — многофункциональный приемник прогноза погоды и навигационных сообщений от компании «Cobham». Устройство использует самые последние разработки в области судовых навигационных решений и гарантирует пользователю полную сетевую интеграцию с компонентами информационной корабельной сети. Прибор выполнен по принципу «Black box» и позволяет разместить блок приемника отдельно от панели управления. Приемник работает на частотах 518 кГц и 490 кГц или 4209,5 кГц, поддерживает работу с внешними устройства по протоколу NMEA0183 INS, NMEA 0183 GPS, Dual LAN RSTP, а также с использованием сетевого LAN интерфейса.

NAVTEX — всемирная система автоматического оповещения судов, предоставляет информацию о прогнозе погоды и навигационных опасностях для повышения безопасности судоходства. Система позволяет корректировать маршрут с учетом актуальной информации в реальном времени. Сообщения передаются в текстовом виде и выводятся либо на экран устройства, либо на внешний или встроенный принтер. Приемники NavTex являются необходимыми компонентами судового оборудования ГМССБ (Глобальной морской системы связи при бедствии и для обеспечения безопасности).

Sailor 6390 имеет одобрение Федерального Агенства Морского и Речного Транспорта, а также MED 2012/32/EU, полностью соответствует стандартам IEC-60945 (2002), IEC-60945 Редакция 1 (2008), IEC-61097-6 (2005-12), IEC-61162-1 (2010-11), ITU-T X.27/V.11 (1996) и отвечает требованиям международной конвенции SOLAS правилам IV / 7, IV/14: ITU-R M.540-2 (06/90) и ITU-R M.625-3 (10/95).

Navtex SAILOR 6390 — приемник ГМССБ нового поколения, удобен и прост в установке и эксплуатации, состоит из блока приемника, индикатора и антенны. Также приемник может работать в качестве автономного устройства. SAILOR 6390 всегда находится в состоянии приема, даже когда просто включен.

SAILOR 6390 получает сообщения на международных частотах Навтекс 490 кГц, 518 кГц и 4,209.5 кГц и подключается к системе корабля INS или панели управления SAILOR 6004, чтобы отображать все Навтекс сообщения. SAILOR 6390 способен сохранять в памяти 2000 сообщений для каждой из частот. Возможно настроить, от каких станций требуется получать сообщения и какие типы. Устройство сигнализирует о получении сообщения категории D (т.е. SAR, Mayday relay, Пиратская атака и т.д.). 

Конструктивно, приемник SAILOR 6390 может быть установлен в любом месте на борту, в то время как INS или панель управления может быть размещен в любом месте на мосту. Приемник и панель управления соединены двойной LAN или NMEA, так что связь между ними очень надежна, и монтаж невероятно гибким.

SAILOR 6390 приемник Навтекс одобрен MED 2012/32/EU и соответствует требованиям следующих стандартов:
