Электропневматический позиционер модели 4700Е — это прибор для комплектации регулирующих клапанов с прецизионным кулачком обратной связи, обеспечивающий надежность, точное позиционирование, высокую чувствительность и возможность настройки на месте характеристики регулирования.
Позиционеры могут применяться как с поворотными, так и с линейными приводами. При установке на линейном приводе, перемещение штока передается на кулачок посредством простых и прочных соединительных деталей — винтовой муфты и рычага. В случае поворотного привода кулачок устанавливается непосредственно на торец вала клапана.

Отличительные особенности
— прибор полностью унифицирован с пневматическим позиционером модели 4700Р. Неразборный I/P модуль используется для преобразования электрического сигнала в пневматический;
— один универсальный кулачок с несколькими секторами обеспечивает линейную, каскадную линейную и равнопроцентную характеристики регулирования;
— характеристика регулирования может быть изменена на месте путем переустановки кулачка; дополнительные детали для этого не требуются;
— настройки нуля и шкалы легко выполняются выполнением двух простых операций. Ноль настраивается при помощи регулировочной гайки, в то время как шкала устанавливается посредством изменения эффективной длины пружины обратной связи;
— весь узел настройки полностью закрыт для защиты от воздействия окружающей атмосферы;
— какие бы то ни было настройки в I/P модуле отсутствуют;
— золотник пилотного клапана является единственной движущейся деталью в этом узле. При необходимости он легко вынимается для обслуживания без разборки других частей позиционера;
— прибор устойчив к воздействию агрессивной окружающей среды — внутренние детали выполнены из коррозионностойких материалов.
