Автомобиль Phaeton Пневматическая подвеска с регулируемыми амортизаторами (rus.) Устройство и принцип действия. Пособие по программе самообразования.
При разработке ходовой части предъявляются требования, направленные на достижение максимального комфорта водителя и пассажиров, обеспечение их безопасности и снижение шума, проникающего в салон при движении автомобиля по неровностям дороги. Одним из таких решений является конструкция ходовой части, в которой совмещены: система регулирования уровня кузова автомобиля с пневматической подвеской всех колес (4-Corner-Luftfederung, сокращенно 4CL) и система бесступенчатого регулирования амортизаторов (Continuous Damping Control, сокращенно CDC). Система регулирования должна работать по принципу «Skyhook» (Подвески к небу). Ходовую часть этого типа фирма Volkswagen впервые применила на автомобиле Phaeton.
