    Данное руководство содержит общие сведения об устройстве различных модификаций автомобиля RENAULT TRAFIC II, NISSAN PRIMASTAR, OPEL VIVARO с 2001 г. выпуска с учетом модернизации 2006 г., рекомендации по техническому обслуживанию и ремонту двигателей и их систем, трансмиссии с механической и роботизированной коробками передач, рулевого управления с гидроусилителем, тормозных систем с ABS и системой курсовой устойчивости ESP.

    В описании кузова приведены размеры, необходимые при ремонте. Электрические схемы содержат сведения о различиях в модификации автомобиля. Сведения, содержащиеся в данном руководстве, могут быть полезными как владельцу автомобиля, который занимается самостоятельным ремонтом, так и квалифицированному специалисту. Renault Trafic II является вторым поколением известного многоцелевого фургона. Производство с конца 2001 г.; модернизация в 2006 году.

    Базовые варианты кузова: — цельнометаллические фургоны полной массой до 2,8 т с одной или двумя боковыми сдвижными дверями и полезной емкостью грузового отсека 5-8 м³, с разной высотой расположения крыши и внутренней длиной 2,4-2,8 м; — грузопассажирские исполнения с грузовым отсеком вместимостью 1,2- 6,0 м³ — микроавтобусы на 7-9 пассажиров. Колесная база — 3098 и 3498 мм. и два варианта грузоподъемности — 1,0 и 1,2 т. Общее количество модификаций достигает 30 вариантов. На автомобиле может быть установлен как дизельный (три типа, в двух модификациях, каждый — 1,9 л. 2,0 л. и 2,5 л.) так и бензиновый двигатель объемом 2,0 л. Наиболее мощные исполнения комплектуют механической 6-ступенчатой коробкой передач и только на 84-сильном фургоне предлагают 5-ступенчатую коробку. Как опция, устанавливаются боковые надувные подушки безопасности, электрические стеклоподъемники, кондиционер, бортовой компьютер, навигационную систему, буксирный крюк, крепления на крыше для багажа или велосипедов.

    Выпуск машин Trafic налажен в Великобритании на одном из заводов корпорации General Motors в Лутоне, где собирают также фургоны Vauxhall Vivaro и Opel Vivaro. Под маркой Nissan Primastar их выпускают в Испании. От унифицированных с ним машин Renault Trafic отличается комплектацией, отделкой и набором дополнительного оборудования, причем подготовкой заказных вариантов занимается французская кузовная фирма Gruau Новинкой 2006 г. стал наиболее комфортный 7-местный грузопассажирский вариант Trafic Generation с двумя кондиционерами, обогреваемыми сиденьями, боковыми надувными шторами безопасности, мощной аудиосистемой и холодильником.
    Интересным является новшество в дизельном двигателе 2,5 dCi — отдельный шестеренный привод ТНВД. Такая конструкция позволяет разгрузить зубчатый ремень, которым приводятся во вращение только распределительные валы. Другим новшеством для вариантов с 2,5-литровым дизелем является «роботизированная» коробка передач Quickshift — вариант стандартной 6-ступенчатой коробки, способный работать как с ручным управлением, так и в полностью автоматическом режиме. Для управления служит джойстик, при помощи которого можно выбирать режим работы и переключать передачи, информация о которых выводится на информационное табло на панели приборов. Кроме того, в распоряжении водителя имеется переключатель выбора режима трогания с места — с полной нагрузкой или в условиях недостаточного сцепления колес с дорогой. Коробка снабжена двумя электронными модулями, которые контролируют условия движения и управляют электрогидравлической системой привода сцепления и механизма переключения передач. Это позволяет обойтись без педали сцепления, упростить управление автомобилем и повысить его экономичность на 8-10%.
