MOUNTING
Note: To achieve a true temperature
reading, avoid mounting in direct sunlight.
We recommend that you mount the remote
temperature sensor on an outside North-
facing wall. The sending range is 80ft;
obstacles such as walls, concrete, and large
metal objects will reduce the range. Place
both units in their desired location
temporarily to test reception capability
before permanently mounting.
A.
REMOTE TEMPERATURE
SENSOR
1.
Remove the mounting bracket from
the remote temperature sensor.
2.
Mount using either screws or
adhesive tape.
3.
Reattach the remote temperature
sensor to the mounting bracket.

SAFETY MEASURES
Before using the unit, read this instruction manual carefully and
keep it for future reference.
Use the unit for intended purposes only, as specified in this
manual. Mishandling the unit can lead to its breakage and
cause harm to the user or damage to his/her property.
•
Do not subject the unit to impacts (dust and moisture are
also to be avoided), as it can lead to failures, reduction
of service life, battery damage and to deformation of the
unit body parts.
•
Provide that no liquid gets inside the unit body. To prevent
the unit’s damage, do not expose the it to rain or moisture,
do not place the unit in places with high humidity (near
bathtubs, containers filled with water, kitchen sinks, wash-
ing machines, near a swimming pool, in wet basements,
etc.). Protect the unit from dripping and splashing.
•
The unit should not be placed near heat sources such as
radiators, electric heaters, stoves or in places exposed
to direct sunlight, excessive dust, vibration or mechani-
cal shocks.
•
Install the unit on flat stable surface in places with proper
ventilation. Do not block the unit ventilation openings.
•
Make sure that the wired sensor is not bent or pinched.
•
Do not let foreign objects get into unit openings.
•
Do not repair the unit or make any changes in it by your-
self. If you find any damages, switch the unit off by remov-
ing the batteries from the battery compartment and apply
to the authorized service center.
•
If you disassemble the unit, it will lead to warranty cancel-
lation. No parts inside the unit require the user’s attention.
•
Do not allow children to use the unit as a toy.
•
This unit is not intended for usage by children under 8
years of age.
•
Children aged 8 and over as well as disabled persons can
use this unit only under supervision of a person who is
responsible for their safety, if they are given all the neces-
sary and understandable instructions concerning the safe
usage of the unit and information about danger that can be
caused by its improper usage.
•
To avoid damages, transport the unit in original pack-
age only.
•
For children safety reasons do not leave polyethylene
bags, used as a packaging, unattended.
•
Attention! Do not allow children to play with polyethylene
bags or packaging film. Danger of suffocation!
•
Do not use abrasives or substances causing damages
of the body and the inner parts of the units for cleaning.
•
Keep the unit out of reach of children.
THE UNIT IS INTENDED FOR HOUSEHOLD USAGE ONLY
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
After unit transportation or storage at low temperature
it is necessary to keep it for at least two hours at room
temperature.
–
Unpack the unit, remove any stickers that can prevent
unit operation.
–
Check the unit for damages. In case of damages do not
switch the unit on.
BATTERY INSTALLATION
Attention!
Batteries leakage can cause injuries or the unit damage. To avoid
damages, follow the recommendations specified below:
•
insert batteries following the polarity;
•
use only new batteries of the type specified in the instruc-
tion manual;
•
do not insert the batteries of different types, new batter-
ies with old ones, batteries of different brands as well as
rechargeable batteries of different capacity;
•
remove the batteries if you are not planning to use the
unit for a long time;
•
do not dismantle the batteries, do not subject them to
high temperatures;
•
replace the batteries in time.
Notes:
•
If the batteries are already installed into the bat-
tery compartment you need to remove the isolation
insert. Long operation under low or high temperatures
can reduce the voltage of the batteries of the sensor (16),
thus decreasing the sensor’s transmission range.
•
The symbol
indicates that the batteries are dis-
charged, replace the batteries.
Remote sensor
–
Shift the battery compartment lid (19). Insert two “AAA”
batteries (included), strictly following the polarity.
–
Select the temperature measurement units by pressing
the C/°F button (21). The selected measurement units are
shown on the display (17).
–
Select the transmission channel number (from 1 to 3) by
pressing the CH button (22) repeatedly.
–

Main unit
–
Remove the battery compartment lid (7) and insert three
“AA” batteries (included), strictly following the polarity.
–
Install the battery compartment lid (7) back to its place.
UNIT INSTALLATION
–
Use the flap stand (8) to set the main unit on a flat stable
surface, use the stand (20) for the remote sensor (16).
–
You can also hang up the main unit and the sensor (16)
on the wall by using the holes (9) and (18), respectively.
–
Place the remote sensor (16) outdoors so that it is not
exposed to direct sunlight, rain or snow. The remote sen-
sor should be installed up to 30 meters away from the
main unit in the line of sight. The distance from the main
unit and the remote sensor to any interference sources
(such as computers, television receivers etc.) should be
at least 1,5-2 meters.
–
Do not place the unit near metal frames, do not use appli-
ances (for example, headphones) operating at the same
frequency (433 MHz) near the weather station.
–
The remote sensor (16) operates within the temperature
range from –40°C to +60°C. If the outdoor temperature is
below -20 °C or if the remote sensor (16) can’t be installed
outside, set it indoors and install the wired sensor (23) out-
side. In this case outdoor temperature and indoor humid-
ity (at the remote sensor installation point) are displayed
in the field (14).
Note: Make sure that the wired sensor (23) is not bent or
pinched.

from 0 °C to +50°C and the remote sensor (16) operates
outdoors at the temperature from -40°C to +60°C. The
humidity meters (of the main unit and the remote sen-
sor) operate within the relative humidity range from 20%
to 90%. If the temperature and humidity values are below
the specified range, the symbols «LL» will be shown in the
corresponding field.
–
Indoor temperature and humidity data are displayed in the
field (13) «in». Outdoor temperature and humidity values
are displayed in the field (14) «out».
–
Temperature and humidity are measured every 30 sec-
onds by the main unit and minutely by the remote sensor
(16). The data are updated automatically.
–
Temperature trends are indicated with arrows (tempera-
ture increases, temperature remains constant, tempera-
ture decreases) in the field (13) and (14).
–
Temperature and humidity data are used for evaluat-
ing of the comfort level that is indicated by one of the
three symbols:
“Favorable” – optimal temperature and humidity
values;
“Arid” – indoor humidity level is lower than optimal;
“Damp” – indoor humidity level is higher than optimal.
